I remember when my oldest grandson, Kyan Baker, was two and three years old. You know the first grandchild is a “star”!
Thanksgiving was his favorite holiday. It was the one day of the year all of his loved ones surrounded him.
All of the grandparents would join Kyan in playing “Ring Around the Rosy.”
Kyan is grown now. He is eighteen years old, and has gone away to study at the University of California, San Diego.
He has been joined by a brother and two girl cousins as “stars” of our family.
Kyan is coming home for Thanksgiving.
It might be my favorite holiday this year. It’s still the only time we get the family “gang” together.
